Partnership Insurance and Shareholder Insurance
If a business owner is in business with other partners or shareholders they will have a written agreement in place which sets out the details of the business arrangement. One of those details will likely cover what is to happen in the event of death or disablement of one of the owners. While the buy / sell agreement will set out the agreed arrangements and pricing for the sale and purchase of the business to the remaining shareholders or partners, having insurance in place can ensure the funding is available.
